KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 「Perfect Family」, which will premiere on the 14th, is a mystery thriller drama in which a happy and perfect family becomes increasingly suspicious of each other due to the murder of their daughter, and is based on a popular webtoon of the same name.
One day in the play, Kim Byeong-cheol plays Choi Jin-hyuk, who is trying to protect his daughter Choi Sun-hee (Park Joo-hyun), who is involved in the murder. Jin-hyuk, the ordinary head of a harmonious family, turns in an instant to save his daughter, raising dramatic tension.
Ahead of the main broadcast, a colorful still that shows the cross-section of Choi Jin-hyuk (Kim Byung-chul) is unveiled, drawing attention. First, his serious expression and pale smile are clearly contrasted, which adds to his interest, allowing him to guess his strange personality, which is unknown.
Jin-hyuk has such a strong paternity that he turned from a prosecutor to a lawyer for his daughter. When her daughter is on the verge of being framed for murder, she steps out, but rather misunderstands her in the process. I wonder what happened between the two fathers and daughters and whether they can resolve the misunderstanding and restore the relationship.
Nevertheless, Jin-hyuk does what he will do silently as the head of the family. He struggles to protect Sun-hee until the end, and is expected to provide a deep aftertaste by finding the true meaning of 'perfect family'.
Director Isao Yukisada, who met Kim Byung-chul with his first Korean production, said of Kim Byung-chul "A sharp actor who seems to be constantly harboring madness deep in his heart while building his acting quietly and gently." In this way, Kim Byung-chul will lead the center of the play by portraying the sensitive person of the character in depth through 'Perfect Family'.
Meanwhile, KBS2's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Perfect Family' will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 14th.
