On the afternoon of the 3rd, a press conference for the 29th Busan International Film Festival was held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry located at 39 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul. Chairman Park Kwang-soo, acting executive chairman Park Do-shin, senior programmer Nam Dong-cheol and market chairman Kim Young-deok attended the press conference.
RM, the leader of BTS, will also be invited to open cinema to meet audiences at outdoor theaters, with his solo album maker and film 'RM's eight-month personal record before joining the military. The mega-phone was directed by Lee Sung-jin, who directed the most popular Netflix series 'Angry People' last year.
Kang So-won, the programmer who selected the work, said "The film was officially submitted, and when I watched the film, it was different from the film made by the Korean documentary camp, but I chose it because it would be a fun experience for the audience." This is the second time that a documentary will be shown in a large cinema. I wanted to show a variety of movies, and I think it's a work that not only fandom but also general audiences can enjoy. As you know, RM, the main character, is in the military, so it will be difficult to attend the Busan Film Festival. Instead, director Lee Sung-jin and other artists will attend the stage greeting."
The 29th Busan International Film Festival will be held for 10 days from October 2nd to 11th around the Seoul Cinema Center.
