Director Huh said at the press and distribution premiere of the movie 'Ordinary Family' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 24th, `Because I have children, I sympathized a lot while making the movie.'
The movie 'Ordinary Family', which will be released on October 9, is a well-made suspense that shows four people living with their own beliefs watching CCTV footage of children's crimes, and everything collapses. 'Ordinary Family' was officially invited to the 48th Toronto International Film Festival Gala Presentation section and was screened for the first time in the world. Director Huh, who directed the production, said, "After performing in Toronto, I met you again a year later. I'm more nervous and excited than ever before," he said, expressing his feelings ahead of the release.
Then, about how he directed the production, "When I first received the offer, I received the script first. I've read the original novel since then, and I've seen other remakes, and they're so great. I thought a lot about how to make this better again. While making the movie, I thought about 'What would the parents of the children who committed the crime do?' and I also have children, so I sympathized a lot. I thought there might be a story that could be told even if I brought this framework of story to Korean society, so I took courage to direct the work.
