Shin Se-kyung returns with 'Humanity'..Screen comeback after 10 years

Actor Shin Se-kyung will make her comeback as a genre movie in 10 years through the spy action film 「Humint" (directed by Ryu Seung-wan, produced by Foreign Oil Steel).

Shin Se-kyung was selected as the new main character of 'Humint' on behalf of Nana, who recently announced her departure due to schedule problems. Shin Se-kyung will play Chae Sun-hwa, a North Korean restaurant employee, and perform a special chemistry with Cho In-sung, the head of the South Korean National Intelligence Service, and Park Jung-min, the head of the North Korean national security agency, Park Geon.

Earlier, Shin Se-kyung did not appear in new screen works for a while after 'Taza-God's Hand' (directed by Kang Hyung-chul), which was released in September 2014. Shin Se-kyung chose the genre film 'Humint' for the first time in 10 years, signaling a welcome meeting with the audience. Director Ryu Seung-wan and director Shin Se-kyung of 「Queen」 are expected to heat up the theater next year.

'Humint' is an espionage action film about South and North Korean secret agents who clash while digging into crimes occurring on the border of Vladivostok. Cho In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Se-kyung appeared, and director Ryu Seung-wan of the 'Veteran'series, 'Secret Agent' took the megaphone.
