Shin Se-kyung was selected as the new main character of 'Humint' on behalf of Nana, who recently announced her departure due to schedule problems. Shin Se-kyung will play Chae Sun-hwa, a North Korean restaurant employee, and perform a special chemistry with Cho In-sung, the head of the South Korean National Intelligence Service, and Park Jung-min, the head of the North Korean national security agency, Park Geon.
Earlier, Shin Se-kyung did not appear in new screen works for a while after 'Taza-God's Hand' (directed by Kang Hyung-chul), which was released in September 2014.
