Kim Myung-min recently met with Sports Chosun at the Nuri Dream Square Business Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, saying, `My brother showed his presence like a gold medalist for seven consecutive Olympics on the set.'
Genie TV's original drama Your Honor, which first aired on the 12th of last month, is a fatherly instinct confrontation between a judge covering up his son's murder, a criminal gang boss chasing his son's killer, and two fathers who decide to become monsters for their children. Director Pyo Min-soo, who directed 'The Moon in the Daytime', 'The Third Charm', 'Producer', 'Iris2', and 'Full House', participated as creators. On top of that, director Yoo Jong-sun, who directed 'Paper Moon', 'Eosa and Joy', '60 Days, Designated Survivor', and writer Kim Jae-hwan, who wrote 'Boy's Generation', gathered expectations.
Kim Myung-min played as Kim Kang-heon, chairman of Woowon Group, a powerful person above the law in the play. Regarding his feelings ahead of the final episode, he said "It was different from other works. Korean viewers like to end it exactly like Gwonseon Jingak. It's hard to expect that kind of ending in this drama. It depicts a twisted paternal love that tried to protect something precious in each way. Perhaps the writer also had a hard time figuring out how to end the story. I finished my last shoot with Hyun-joo at the beach, and something unending still remains in my heart. Maybe you did, too. I think I have to end the life of each character who has lived for about 6 months, so I feel uncomfortable. I haven't seen the last episode yet, so I don't know what story it will be, but I think it would have been nice to end it clearly. On the other hand, I think it would be difficult to put together different ugly stories of humans. Living in different environments, the standards for values and justice are too different. Even now, I still have an ambiguous mind (about the ending), but I think that would have been the best."
