On the morning of the 10th, a production briefing session was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University branch in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, for the Netflix crime action film 『The Martial Arts Practice』 (directed by Kim Joo-hwan, produced by Climax Studio, produced by Seven O6). The production briefing session was attended by Kim Woo-bin as Lee Jeong-do, a working-level officer with martial arts skills of 9 dan in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, Kim Sung-kyun as a probation officer Kim Sun-min who does his best to create a safe society, and director Kim Joo-hwan.
Kim Sung-kyun observed the probation office with Kim Woo-bin, and when he looked at the actual work, he not only monitored the electronic anklets, but sometimes blamed the subjects like his brother and did the duties of probation officers. I tried to focus on the human aspect and try to melt it into the character. The character I played this time is a good, warm and caring person. While he played a warm role in his previous work, he said, "If he is a tough and warm character on the outside, this character is a character who is warm on the outside (warm on the outside, warm on the outside, warm on the speed)." Director Kim Joo-hwan said, `Kim Sung-kyun has wanted to meet since the time of the 'War on Crime: The heyday of bad guys'(12, Yoon Jong-bin). He is a person who is so good at communicating and empathizing. It was perfect enough to feel telepathy," he added.
'A martial arts practitioner' is a story about a Taekwondo, kendo, and judo martial arts leader who closely monitors electronic anklets 24 hours a day to prevent crimes at the suggestion of a probation officer. Kim Woo-bin and Kim Sung-kyun appeared, and director Kim Joo-hwan of 'Youth Police' took the megaphone. It will be released worldwide on Netflix on the 13th.
