The movie 'Land of Happiness' achieved the feat of being invited to the 21st Hong Kong Asian Film Festival.

The film 'Land of Happiness' was officially invited to the Cineaste Delights section of the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival, which will be held in Hong Kong from October 17 to November 10. The Hong Kong Asian Film Festival is a major Hong Kong film festival that selects and screens local and Asian works in Hong Kong, and is also famous for inviting films from all over Asia to Hong Kong to function as a venue for Asian film exchanges.

The Sinest Delights section, where 'Land of Happiness' was invited, is a section that screens the most high-profile Asian films released this year, and it can be seen as a result of proving that 'Land of Happiness', which sheds light on stories and characters that we did not pay attention to through the 10.26 presidential assassination and the 12.12 incident, is a hot topic that goes beyond Korea and across Asia. The festival's programmer Xingcheng convincingly depicts political unrest in Korea in 1979, centered on actor Lee Sun-kyun's heartbreaking performance," he said, expressing his feelings about the selection.

Meanwhile, 'Land of Happiness' is a movie about Park Tae-joo, who was involved in the assassination of the president on October 26, 1979, and Jeong In-hoo, a lawyer who entered the worst political trial in Korea by defending him by orders from his superiors, and meets audiences with a VOD service along with a theater screening.
