SHINee Taemin explained why he's the MC of 'Road to Kingdom 2'.

At the Mnet 'Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE' (hereinafter 'Road to Kingdom 2')' held at the Eliena Hotel in Nonhyeon, Gangnam, Seoul on the 19th, Taemin said "SHINee members will be worried because they are a troublemaker" and "I think what it would have been like to come out here with the members"

'Rotalking2' is a survival program that re-examines boy groups with skills and potential as part of the K-pop boy group Rising Project. Following Season 1, which aired in 2020, it made a comeback after about four years of refurbishment.

SHINee Taemin, who is considered a role model for numerous boy group members, will serve as the MC of 'Rotalking2' to help juniors. As the first solo MC since his debut, expectations are high for Taemin's hosting skills. Taemin is filming "I'm going to debut as an MC" because he's worried about who I'm going to be. I made a lot of mistakes whenever I was the MC"I'm trying my best as much as I can," he said, expressing his feelings as an MC.

You must learn a lot while being an MC. The teams and production staff are working so hard. I'm getting a lot of inspiration from the good competition. He also asked me to watch it a lot and support it. Regarding SHINee members' reactions, "They're probably worried because it's an important MC role."My role is important, of course, but I'm also working hard because it's a program that those who appeared on it have to do better than me."

Regarding the purpose of 'Rotalking2', "When I first came up with an offer, it was such a good idea. I wanted to do it, but I was also burdened by whether I could proceed well. But as an idol senior, I wanted to help and give you some advice. I think it's a program that can tell you a lot of good things." Then "Looking at my friends reminded me of myself who used to be active and who I am now. It was also a good study and experience for me. I wondered what it would have been like to be on this show with our members," he said with a smile.

As for the MC challenge "I wanted to try the solo MC as well. I think I saw myself hosting better than I thought, it's the moment I found a new me. "If you have to give me a score, the first episode will be about 10 points out of 100, and the next episode will be about 30 points. I think you can see me getting better and better. If I make a mistake during the recording, the juniors will say 'It's okay, it's okay'. I felt weird. I'll do my best until I get a perfect score," he self-praised.

Mnet 'Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE' will premiere at 9:30 p.m. on the 19th.
