The movie Veteran2 is a new discovery by an actor named Jung Hae-in (36). This is because he, who played the role of new detective Park Sun-woo in the play, captured the audience's attention by challenging to act as a villain for the first time since his debut.

Released on the 13th, 'Veteran 2' is a sequel to the box office hit 'Veteran', which attracted 13.41 million viewers, and it is an action crime investigation drama that pursues a serial killer who caused a stir in the world when the youngest detective Park Sun-woo joins veteran detective Seo Do-cheol's violent crime investigation team to catch the bad guy until the end. Following the previous episode, coach Ryu Seung-wan took the megaphone.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network of movie theater tickets, 'Veteran2' accumulated number of audiences was 4.453,536 (as of the morning of the 19th), topping the box office for six consecutive days. Jeong Hae-in, who recently met Sports Chosun, said, `It's not the actors who watch and evaluate the movie, but the audience who do it. I also saw the work at the press preview, and fortunately, I was confident that the audience would not be disappointed because it seemed to come out well."

When asked about the burden of box office following the previous episode, he said "If there was no burden because it worked out so well, it's a lie" On the contrary, there was no burden of acting characters. I thought Villain's tendencies did not overlap because the story was completely different from the first one and the way the story was unfolding. I think I was only immersed in that moment when I came to the set and changed my clothes and acted."

He also pointed out the difference between Cho Tae-oh, a villain in the previous film. Jung Hae-in "As those who watched the movie know, isn't Jo Tae-oh an absolute evil and a fiery nature?" On the other hand, Park Sun-woo thinks that it is a chaotic chaos itself that is difficult to accurately define. If I had to explain it, I think it was closer to the cold side. The lighting director made a difference when filming. In the scene with Jeon Seok-woo (Jung Man-sik), he shot a red light to Jeon Seok-woo and a blue light to me. Blue has a cold image. It seems to have a symbolic meaning in its own way."

In particular, Jung Hae-in worked with his senior Hwang Jung-min for the first time through 'Veteran 2'. He was able to get good energy while filming with his seniors"He's very cold, delicate and warm. At first, I was scared and went to the scene, but it disappeared right away. When I was filming the bust scene, my senior showed enthusiastic performance from behind so that I could be immersed even though I wasn't caught on camera. Seeing that, I reflected on myself a lot and learned a lot. When I have more than 30 years of experience, I want to be a senior who can help my juniors" revealed the wind.

Earlier, 'Veteran2' was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 77th Cannes International Film Festival held in May. In response, Jung Hae-in "There is something I want to explain, and the director called me right after the announcement of the Cannes invitation. He called me with a slightly reminiscent voice, and he said, "Can you empty your schedule?" At the time of answering the phone, there were staff members because they were filming 'Mother, Friend, Son', and I received it calmly because I couldn't speak up. But later, the director hung up the phone and thought 'Do I like only myself?' It was a misunderstanding and it was a situation where you shouldn't get too excited because it was a set (laughs). Even on the way home after filming, I couldn't believe it with my manager 'Are we really going to go?' Even on the plane to Cannes, it didn't feel real, and the moment I stepped on the red carpet, my mind went blank. Now I have my debut years, and it's time to stop shaking, but the compartment is different. I felt like I was representing Korea at an overseas film festival, so I felt like I was representing Korea," he said with emotion.

Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in has recently been active in various ways, crossing screens and CRTs. tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Mom Friend Son' (hereinafter 'Um Chin-ah') is showing a fresh romance with Jung So-min, giving viewers a surrogate excitement. "I think fans will think it's an opportunity to enjoy my colorful appearance," he said. "If the general audience, not the fans, watches 'Veteran 2', they are interested in actor Jeong Hae-in?" I think I'll think about looking for other works.

Jung Hae-in, who meets with viewers every weekend with 'Um Chin', said "It seems like it's been a long time since I've been acting with a smile. I think it's almost the first time since 2019. It was nice to see you smile on TV while playing 'Snow Ganghwari', 'D.P.', 'D.P. Season 2', 'Veteran2'. The drama is slowly reaching its climax beyond the middle, and there will be many scenes you want in the future, so please look forward to it (laughs). There are a lot of happy scenes."

Then, regarding the chemistry with Jeong So-min, "Since we are a year apart from So-min and appear as childhood friends in the play, I thought that uncomfortable things should not leak out because we are not getting close to each other."We got close even before we started filming on purpose. Neither I nor this friend is an extrovert, but the vibe is different when introverts get close to each other. Now that it's so comfortable, I think my childhood friend's vibe comes out right away. I'm usually good at putting jokes in place, but (Somin) takes good care of me, so I hit it. He kept scratching and teasing me (laughing). That's how much we can trust and rely on each other," he said, expressing satisfaction.

In addition, regarding the rumor of dating Jung So-min, "I won't say anything (laugh)," "I think it means that the chemistry was that good in the work. Drama is a drama, but it looked good in the making video. In fact, the actors and actresses had the best chemistry ever on the set."
