''He was coercive against me'' daughter of Ham Ik-byeong, father 'Forced Education' revealed (Dad and I)
Ham Ik-byung's daughter made headlines when she exposed her father's coercive education method.

The TV Chosun entertainment program 'Dad and Me' aired on the 11th depicted Ham Ik-byeong and his daughter frankly revealing the conflict between their families and differences in educational perspectives. In the broadcast that day, Ham Ik-byeong introduced himself as a dermatologist and said he raised his daughter and two sons. I think it'll be about "A- about my father's role," he said, expressing his pride.

But the daughter made no secret of her dissatisfaction with her father. Ham Ik-byung had a confrontation with his daughter over the act of showing the video to his grandchildren without permission, and the daughter strongly protested, saying, `Dad is really non-educational.' The daughter tried to strictly restrict her grandchildren from watching TV or cell phones, but Ham Ik-byung refused to accept her opinion, saying, `I'm leaving in a month or two, so try to escape in the meantime.'

The daughter recalls her father's past experiences with coercive teaching methods and said, `Dad always 'What do you want to eat?I only asked the question '. I was scared and frustrated"He confessed. She expressed dissatisfaction, saying that Ham Ik-byeong's education was focused on analysis and resolution rather than empathy. In response, Ham Ik-byung explained his teaching style, saying, `I tried to handle things efficiently, and I only needed a little coercion.' He rationalized the teaching methods of the past, saying, `If you can't memorize the ball, you hit each palm, and then you can memorize what took a few hours quickly.'

The daughter confessed honestly to the difficulties she had in her family, adding that this father's way put a lot of pressure on her as well as on her younger brother.
