In the final episode, Song Ho-young (played by Kim Do-hoon) visited Kim Kang-heon's house with a gun in revenge for Kim Sang-hyuk (Heo Nam-joon). Song Ho-young exploded with suppressed anger at the thought of her mother's death, but eventually Song Ho-young died without revenge when Ma Ji-young (Jeong Ae-yeon) pulled the trigger on him. Song Pan-ho, who arrived at the scene late, embraced his son's body and cried out in deep sadness.
Kim Eun (Park Se-hyun) was also shocked by her brother's death and Song Ho-young's tragic ending and made an extreme choice. Song Pan-ho, who sacrificed a lot to protect his son, and Kim Kang-heon, who tried to control everything with power, eventually lost their children and went to ruin.
In the last scene, Song Pan-ho visited Kim Kang-heon, who lost the meaning of his life, and looked back on the destruction of the two, leaving the words "This is the surest way to make us repent of our sins."
"Your Honor" is a work about a desperate fight between two fathers who became monsters for their children, and it drew viewers' immersion by unraveling the unconventional setting and complex emotional lines as a judge who hides the case and a powerful man who pursues the truth with a solid narrative. The reversal, rapid development, and the anguish of the two main characters standing at the boundary between good and evil added to the tension of the play and received great response.
