Actors Kim Go-eun and Noh Sang-hyun tell a freewheeling love story through the movie 'How to Love in a Large City'.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, a press and distribution preview of the movie 'Love Law in Large Cities' was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Go-eun, Noh Sang-hyun and Lee Eon-hee attended the scene.
Released on Oct. 1, the movie is about Jae-hee (Kim Go-eun) of a free spirit who has no way of looking around and Heung-soo (Roh Sang-hyun), who is familiar with how to distance himself from the world, living together and playing their own love method. Director Lee Eon-hee of 「Lover the Shoulder」,"Missing: Missing Women" and"Detective: Returns" took the megaphone.

Director Lee, who directed the film, said, `The original short story had to be made into a feature film, so I needed a lot of it in terms of volume. I enjoyed the book, so I wanted to know more about Jaehee and Heungsoo, and I wanted to get closer to them and tell them a story that I could understand"It was basically based on a short story written by the artist, but I wanted to make a work by filling in the stories of the two of them."
The "Loving Law of the City" was officially invited to the presentation section of the 49th Toronto International Film Festival. Director Lee, Kim Go-eun and Roh Sang-hyun met global audiences on the red carpet before the world premiere on the 13th (local time). Director Lee said, "It was my first time meeting an ordinary audience in a foreign country before the movie was released, and I was very worried"I made a movie thinking of the Korean audience, and thank you for saying such good words. I sincerely hope that we can receive such a response in Korea as well."

In the play, Kim Go-eun played Jae-hee, a straightforward character who is outspoken in life and love, raising expectations for a new transformation. He said of his character "Jae-hee is the same age as me. It was my first time playing a character of the same age, and I especially liked the cell phone in the movie. When I was a freshman in college, the iPhone was first released, so I remember being overwhelmed at the time. "When I was looking at Jae-hee, I thought, 'Why couldn't I play like that at that time?' and I acted with great vicarious satisfaction."
Then on the part that focuses on acting "Jaehee is a character who stands out in the scenario and is immediately catchy. I wanted to express Jae-hee as well as possible. He explained, "In a way, I was hated by many people and misunderstood, but I tried to act so that it didn't seem simple in one dimension."
Earlier, Kim Go-eun was named a 10 million actor with the movie 「Damyo」 released in February. He hopes desperately for the box office success of the `Loving Law of the City.'"Many people worked hard for our film to be produced, and there were many twists and turns. It's a touching and emotional day just to be released like this. I would be very happy to be a box office hit."

Noh Sang-hyun is an excitement that he wants to distance himself from the world and perfectly melts into the decomposed character. He said "I liked the process of gaining strength and courage through Jae-hee and growing up the pain and inner things that I had experienced because of my secrets and characteristics."
In the movie, Miss A's hit song "Bad Girl Good Girl" dance was perfectly performed, drawing attention. Noh Sang-hyun said "The dance was very difficult. I took a lot of lessons to practice hard. I was in a hurry, but I tried my best not to get it wrong"It was difficult, but it was fun," he said with a smile.
Roh Sang-hyun, who played an LGBTQ person in the play, said "I met actual LGBTQ people and heard a lot of stories that could be referenced in acting. Heung-soo seems to find himself as he is comforted and encouraged by exchanging secrets with Jae-hee.

Finally, Kim Go-eun and Noh Sang-hyun show off their best friendship chemistry for 13 years in 'How to Love the City'. Noh Sang-hyun said, "'I was a little shy when I first met Kim Go-eun, but I approached her first and played around and talked to her.'" Since then, we have become close in earnest after filming for a long time. I was able to speak very comfortably and naturally" expressed satisfaction. Kim Go-eun also had a lot of scenes filming on the set, which is Jae-hee's house"I was proud that these scenes were important in building the narratives of the two, so we had a lot of conversations."
