The production presentation for the second season of the Netflix original series 『Kyungsung Creature" (played by Kang Eun-kyung, directed by Jung Dong-yoon) was held at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 25th. Director Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Lee Moo-saeng, Bae Hyun-sung and Chung Dong-yoon attended the event.
'Gyeongseong Kritzer 2' is a story about the relationship, fate, and bad relationship of Gyeongseong where everything looks similar to 'Taesang' in 2024 Seoul, 'Hojae' and 'Chaeok' who survived the spring of Gyeongseong meet. 'Gyeongseong Kritzer 2' depicts the struggles of characters to end the bad relationship from Gyeongseong in 1945 to Seoul in 2024. Park Seo-joon, who played the godfather of Geumokdang 'Taesang', Gyeongseong's best pawnbroker in season 1, plays 'Hojae', which looks exactly like 'Taesang' in season 2. Han So-hee played the role of Chae-ok, who is living in Seoul today without getting old or dying after swallowing Najin in Gyeongseong in the past. In addition, Lee Mu-saeng as 'Kuroko Captain', who leads the secret elite agent Kuroko, and Bae Hyun-sung as 'hojae' and 'Seungjo' with a special ability to freely use tentacles were joined.
Director Chung Dong-yoon, who directed the movie, explained that "'Gyeongseong Kritzer 2' is a story of two stories where Chae-ok, who survived 79 years, meets again with the remnants of the times still remaining in Seoul in 2024. Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee, who are together from season 1 to season 2, said "It feels new to think that it's finally coming out. It was hard, but it was a fun time`"Expectations were expressed, and Lee Moo-saeng and Bae Hyun-sung, who are newly joining, also expressed expectations. Lee Mu-saeng had a grand scale and solid story of Season 1, which went beyond that and was fascinated by the expanded story and relentless development and fell in love with the script."

Season 1 is followed by season 2, but there is also a clear difference. Park Seo-joon said, `In my case, the names of the characters are different, but when filming season 1, if it was filmed on the set or in the provinces due to the historical background, season 2 was something like a work set in modern times, but it was fresh. I stayed in the past and came to modern times, so there was something fresh. Personally, it was fun to think about the point where I wanted to show other charms while filming. And the case of Chae-ok that I look at has existed for 79 years. But in season 2, your face is whiter. I thought, "You did the right anti-aging, you didn't see the light anymore." Since Han So-hee had to postpone the time, it seems that the changes of the times had a great influence on Chae-ok, but rather focused on how to postpone the time. The unexpected slump in season 1 has become a burden. Expectations were also high as it was a masterpiece with a production cost of 70 billion won in both season 1 and season 2. Another point to watch is whether it will be able to regain viewers' expectations. Park Seo-joon felt that his breathing became much better while filming season 2. I think it was much better because I felt closer to him personally than in season 1. When we met for the first time, we talked about it, but the director said he wanted to connect that feeling in season 2. Regarding Ho-ho and Chae-ok's romance, Han So-hee said, `I think it would be good to take it as a meaning of reunion from Chae-ok's point of view. In any case, it is a good thing, but it resembles Taesang so much, and there are certainly emotions that Chae-ok can't help but feel while looking at such good news, so I think there will be moments when I follow Chae-ok's point of view, so if you focus on that, I think I can follow Chae-ok's heart."
Director Chung Dong-yoon "Will season 1 be released?? It was when the season 2 editing ended. Looking at the reaction after it was released, I don't know if the expression of hopelessness is correct, but I personally asked to re-edit the editing to fulfill my responsibilities, and I think I tried to make modern people sympathize a little more with the speed. We decided to take responsibility because we hoped that the contents we did would not come to nothing. I don't know what the reaction will be, but I hope the producer will consider it as reflecting as many things as possible and trying to share their feelings together."
The meaning is further strengthened. Director Chung Dong-yoon said, `I think the important thing is to think about the people who made me hurt like this, I think it's important to point out about them and not to make a compromise easily and to bow down. That was the planning intention. I wanted to share with people around the world that forgiveness and forgetfulness are different" he said.
Kyungsung Creature 2 will be released on Netflix on the 27th.
