▶ Live as a forest together 'Everyone's Forest' ? Donggye-myeon, Sunchang-gun, Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Province

Lee Min-sun and Kim Seok-kyun, who live in a small forest with chestnut trees in Sunchang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, are deeply into the fun of picking chestnuts in autumn. Eight years ago, the architect couple, who built the dirt house, built a cottage and tree house with natural materials such as soil and rice husk on the hillside of the neighborhood, and created a shelter and playground for anyone to enjoy together. Many people gather strength and wisdom together to create it, and the name is 'Everyone's Forest' because it is a place where anyone can stay. There is no water, electricity, or gas in this forest. Instead, it is followed by the hard work of a person who makes Ongdalsaem, digs in the ground, and picks up trees.

I want to feel the forest intact, so I take the inconvenience, but I don't give up on the taste. Lee Kyung-ah, a forest cook, marinated pork belly with fermented yeast and grilled pork belly in a jar oven. Weed salad mixed with all kinds of wild plants in a sauce flavored with fermented vinegar and fermented liquid, boiled with tomatoes and thistle, and a glass of fresh coffee roasted over a firewood fire fills the table with happiness living in the forest. As if different trees come together and become a forest, we find the meaning of healing and care that the forest embraces, everyone who meets in unfamiliar places and lives on each other.
