Pachinko Season 2 catches the eye with rich chemistry that adds immersion to the play.

▶ Old age chemistry: Yoon Yeo-jeong meets Jun Kunimura! 'Pachinko' Season 2 to elicit a generational consensus

Warmly capturing a huge-scale narrative, 'Pachinko' is a story that begins with forbidden love and draws an unforgettable chronicle of war, peace, love and separation, victory and judgment between Korea, Japan, and the United States. The first chemistry is that of the old man 'Seonja'(Yoon Yeo-jeong) who is firmly rooted in an unfamiliar land and 'Kato'(Kunimura Jun) who gives him realistic advice. In 1989, he appeared in a supermarket in Japan, consoling the grandson of 'Solomon'(Jinha) in the wake of an incident in which 'Solomon'(Jinha) raised his voice. Although he did not understand the current generation, which does not seem to have much difficulty in life, 'Solomon's appearance of understanding the sorrows of the grandchildren's generation little by little through 'Kato' and understanding the life of 'Solomon' is drawing sympathy across generations. On top of that, Yoon Yeo-jung and Kunimura Jun are giving viewers a warm impression with their enthusiastic performances that perfectly blend into the character.

▶ Excitement chemistry: A new relationship will also come to Kyunghee, who is left alone with 'Han-su' and 'Han-su' who are finally reunited

The second chemistry is the excitement chemistry that blooms in the era of adversity. Previously, the story of 'Seonja' (Kim Min-ha), who hurriedly left Osaka due to World War II airstrikes and began a life of refuge in rural areas, unfolded. Since the reunion in many years, viewers' curiosity has been doubled by suggesting an unpredictable development in the future in the form of 'Hansu' (Lee Min-ho), which is gradually attracted to 'Hansu' (Lee Min-ho), who silently helps by his side. Meanwhile, 'Kyunghee' (Jeong Eun-chae) is expected to build a new relationship by meeting 'Chang-ho' (Kim Sung-kyu), who understands and respects him, while struggling to take care of the family with 'Joseph' (Han Jun-woo), who got a job at the Nagasaki military factory for a living. As such, Season 2 of 'Pachinko' will delicately capture the complex inner and love of characters living in turbulent times, adding a sense of immersion to the play.

▶ Brother chemistry: bring the play to life with warm synergy during the growth of polar brothers 'Noah' and 'Maesu'!

The third chemistry is the brother chemistry of 'Noah' (Kim Kang-hoon) and 'Maesu' (Kwon Eun-sung), who have polar opposite characteristics. Kim Kang-hoon, who demonstrated his acting skills with 'When the Camellia Blooms' and 'The Youngest Son of the Congregation', is the first son of 'Noah', and Kwon Eun-sung, who caught the attention of domestic audiences in the movie 'Concrete Utopia', is creating a warm synergy by decomposing it into his second son 'Maesu'. In particular, the energy released by the combination of sincere and exemplary 'Noah' and confident 'Noah' even at a young age, and their conflicting charms will give viewers a different fun. Season 2 of 'Pachinko', which shows a solid development with such a variety of chemistry, will capture the world by conveying a deeper lingering image in future developments.

Based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same name, Season 2 of 'Pachinko', which delicately and warmly captures the stories of the hopes and dreams of Korean immigrant families, consists of a total of eight episodes. An episode will be released every Friday until October 11 on Apple TV+, with episode 4 coming September 13.
