Actor Gong Seung-yeon will perform a new acting transformation in the disaster human drama 'Deadline', which will be released on November 6.

On the afternoon of the 25th, a press conference for the movie 'Deadline' was held at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Director Gong Seung-yeon, Park Ji-il, Hong Seo-joon, Lee Joon-hyuk and Kwon Bong-geun attended the meeting.

The movie 'Deadline' is a real disaster human drama about the Pohang steel mill hit by a massive typhoon, the survival and truth ahead of the tight deadline, and the hot struggle.

In the work, Gong Seung-yeon plays the role of producer Oh Yoon-hwa, a passionate current affairs producer who tracks the secrets of the Pohang steel mill, which was severely damaged by the mega typhoon Hinnamno.

At the press conference, Gong Seung-yeon said "I was happy to participate because I had a relationship with the director. As it is a movie based on a true story, I approached it carefully." He said "The noise and poor conditions on the site were difficult because I worked at a steel mill in operation at the time of filming, but I was able to overcome it well thanks to the trust of the actors and the production team." he said.

It is expected that this work will serve as an opportunity to prove Gong Seung-yeon's various acting spectrum again. She made a strong impression at the police station next to the drama fire station and the murder of a person who lives alone in the movie, and was recognized for her acting skills by winning the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Actress.

Gong Seung-yeon said, `Although disaster movies can be heavy, our movies have a warm message", stressing that Deadline is a human drama differentiated from existing disaster movies.

The movie Deadline tells the story of a massive disaster and survival, and it was actually filmed at Pohang Steelworks, adding to the sense of reality. In an interview, Gong studied the character by looking at the interview records before filming. I wanted to be a character who breathes with the audience and conveys emotions."
