Park Sang-young frankly revealed the complex feelings he felt while experiencing the crisis of prohibiting the screening of the drama 「The Love Act of the Large City」 and the process of overcoming it.

On the afternoon of the 16th, a production presentation for the drama 『The Law of Love』 was held at the GGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Huh Jin-ho, Song Ji-young, Son Tae-gyeom, Kim Se-in, writer Park Sang-young, actors Nam Yoon-soo, Oh Hyun-kyung, Kwon Hyuk, Na Hyun-woo, Jin Ho-eun, and Kim Won-joong attended the meeting.

"How to Love in a Large City" is a youth romance about writer Ko Young learning life and love through various meetings. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, the drama was divided into four directors for each episode and completed into a movie-like series.

Writer Park tried to make use of the depth of the original novel by directly participating in the script work. He pondered how the series would succeed in a way that was different from the movie"The answer was to stick to the original. I tried to capture the density of the message and the essence of the story as faithfully as possible" he said.

However, even before the drama was released, some groups opposed it and protested, leading to a crisis. In a situation where publicity was disrupted, such as the trailer going down, writer Park posted on her SNS, "Civil complaints poured into related departments like bombs, and all official trailers were issued." He expressed his feelings at the time, saying, "I was angry at the ridiculous situation where I couldn't promote it.'

However, Park interpreted the crisis in a positive way. He said at the press conference, `Of course, I posted a message mixed with anger, but how widely are we going to spread our work. It's a lucky Vicky, I thought. Good works are bound to spark controversy, he said with a smile.

In addition, writer Park said, "This project was a new experience for me, who was used to working alone"The collaboration with the four directors was a valuable experience as a creator, and I think I've grown a lot through collaboration."

Despite the controversy, the production of 'The Love Act in the Large City', which deals with queer material, finished by keeping the message of the work. Writer Park asked for viewers' understanding and support, saying, `If a work is loved even in controversy, it is meaningful in itself.'

'Loving Law in the Large City' will be released simultaneously in TVing on the 21st.
