The production presentation of tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 『Jungnyeoni" (written by Choi Hyo-bi, directed by Jung Ji-in) was held in Conrad Seoul, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 10th. Director Kim Tae-ri, Shin Ye-eun, Ra Mi-ran, Jung Eun-chae, Kim Yoon-hye and Jung Ji-in attended the event.
It is an expected work, but there is also a controversy outside of the work. MBC filed a provisional seizure application against Studio N, Management mmm, and NPO Entertainment, the producers of tvN's drama `Jungnyeoni.' The Seoul District Court cited it in full last month. Previously, 'Jungnyeoni' was known to be broadcast on MBC, but earlier this year, tvN's programming was confirmed. Producer Jeong Ji-in, who was a member of MBC, was planning and developing 'Jungnyeon' with MBC, and there were constant rumors that MBC would continue the lawsuit. A month before the broadcast, the conflict has once again surfaced.
'Jungnyeoni' is a masterpiece with a production cost of 2 billion won per episode, and it is known that there was a disagreement with MBC. As a result, production companies joined hands with CJ ENM-affiliated Studio Dragon, and the organization was changed. It is also known that the problem arose when producer Jeong Ji-in left MBC at the same time as the organization of 'Jeongnyeon'. It is also rumored that MBC had difficulty building the lineup due to the failure to organize 'Jeongnyeon'. In response, the production company of 'Jungnyeoni' has expressed its position to complain of unfairness.

First of all, I think it's quite fortunate that the broadcast can go out well, and I think I thought of the work first. I don't know what to do with this work. I decided (to resign) with the idea of communicating with the actors and making a good work with them, and I think I'm fortunate to be able to broadcast safely."
Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name (writer Seo Yire/Namon), Jung-nyeon is a work that contains the competition, solidarity, and brilliant growth period surrounding the 'natural sound genius' who challenges the best national drama actor set after the Korean War in the 1950s. Director Jung Ji-in, who has been recognized for his directing skills through the drama 『Clothes Sleeve Red End』 using the fresh material of women's Gukgeuk, will take the megaphone. Kim Tae-ri (played by Yoon Jeong-nyeon), Shin Ye-eun (played by Heo Young-seo), Ra Mi-ran (played by Kang So-bok), Jung Eun-chae (Moon Ok-kyung), Kim Yoon-hye (Seo Hye-rang), Moon So-ri (Seo Yong-rye), and Lee Deok-hwa (played by Gongseon) will be in the work.
'Jungnyeoni' will premiere at 9:20 p.m. on the 12th.
