Director Yoon said at the press and distribution premiere of the movie 'Heavy Snow' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 11th, `I've been filming the movie since 2019, but now I think I'm ready to come out of the world.'
Released on the 23rd, 『Heavy Snowfall" is a story about a winter love story in which high-teen star Seol-yi and aspiring actor Su-an, who became close like fate, visit each other again after they were not honest with each other, and director Yoon Young-soo took the megaphone.
'Heavy snow' was selected as the Korean competition category at the 24th Jeonju International Film Festival, and it was sold out in one minute. In addition, he was officially invited to the 38th London LGBT Film Festival, the 31st Hamburg Film Festival, and the 21st Rome Asian Film Festival competition to prove his outstanding cinematic quality. Director Yoon said, "There's a story that our movie ended five years ago"It is true that filming began at that time, but additional filming and work were carried out after that. In addition, we went around the film festival from last year to this year, and we continued to shoot supplementary photos until a month before the release schedule was set. It wasn't released because I waited for the timing, but it was a movie that I kept working on until it was released. As it's a work I've been working on for a long time, I'm very nervous. I thought this work was ready to come out into the world now."
Then, about the reason for the supplementary shoot "It didn't snow the year we filmed it. The title of the movie is 'Heavy Snow', and even though there was a scene that needed snow, it didn't snow. "We could only shoot in the winter, so that alone was delayed for a year. In addition, since the main characters appear 10 years ago and 10 years later in the work, it seemed that after a certain period of time, the tone and manner of this movie could be better utilized when the image of Han Hae-in was captured", he explained.
