Park Ji-hoon met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 17th and said, `My grandmother suffered from dementia before she passed away,' and `I participated in the work because I thought it could happen to my family enough.'
The movie, which will be released on the 24th, is a movie about a mother and son who seem normal but are so special to each other, and a heartwarming love of a family and a desperate mother who tries to protect her child at the expense of herself, and director Lee Young-guk took the megaphone.
In the play, Park Ji-hoon played his son Ki-hoon, who runs a noodle restaurant with his mother Mi-yeon (Kim Jeong-nan) and lives a normal life. Despite opposition from the family, she misses her sister who left home to debut as an idol singer and takes care of her mother who lives a hard life.
Park Ji-hoon commented on how he felt about working with Kim Jung-nan and his mother and child, saying, `I really can't express it. Isn't it hard to meet him in his work. It was an honor to act while making eye contact, and there was a lot to learn. When a shot goes in and makes eye contact with a senior, there are times when unknown energy fits each other. Following the series of `Weak Hero', I also felt the energy in `What a Beautiful Audrey`. He is such a great senior that I wonder if I dare to say this."
He also expressed his longing for his grandmother, who passed away ahead of the release of the work. Park Ji-hoon "I last saw my grandmother last Chuseok, and she was suffering from dementia. My uncles put 50,000 won in my grandmother's hand to give me pocket money when Jihoon comes. I went down early the next day because I was filming late, but my grandmother couldn't remember me, so she couldn't pay me. I was upset that you didn't remember me. He passed away the day after the premiere, and what I thought at that time was 'Oh, why didn't you go after watching the movie?' so I was sad.' In the meantime, "I never thought my grandmother would suffer from dementia. I thought it could happen to my family enough, so I participated in this work."
