Disney+ original series 'Gangmae Gang' is a comic investigative drama in which the nation's last-place violent class and the new elite class leader team up to solve the case. Seo Hyun-woo plays Jung Jung-hwan, a livelihood detective whose goal is to go thin and long in `Gangmaegang.'
Seo said "Comedy is not just a genre to be funny, but it needs seriousness and authenticity in it." He added that he felt it was important to act so that humor naturally came out of the character's serious emotions, rather than forcing him to laugh just because it was a comical situation.

While preparing for comedy acting, he spent a lot of time analyzing the script and constantly thought about how to convey humor effectively in each scene.
