Actor Jungwoo confessed his honest feelings after gaining huge popularity with the drama `Reply 1994'.

Jungwoo met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 16th and did not do his work for 10 years since "Reply 1994"I think I enjoyed too much popularity compared to what I did"

Jungwoo was loved by many viewers with the tvN drama 'Reply 1994' (hereinafter 'Answer') that aired in 2013. He hasn't been able to do a drama for 10 years since the show was aired. If I could overcome the pressure of popularity quickly, I would have easily appeared in other dramas. After 'Unsa', I was in a situation where I didn't fit in well. I felt like I was enjoying a lot compared to what I did. In the meantime, I have done my best in all my works, and I have not wasted any works. However, because it seemed to be loved too much with 'Response', I decided to go back to the beginning and start from the bottom again.'

He also talked about the mindset he had as an actor. Jungwoo "Popularity is too important, and it is important to get attention from the public, but I wanted to find the essence. After that, it took about a year to decide on the next film. "The officials also asked me "Why isn't the next film coming out quickly?" I've also heard a lot of suggestions for my work, but I had some stubbornness as an actor. Instead, when I meet the officials I met at that time, they apologize, saying, `I'm sorry.' As a result, some of the works I have chosen since then have not been successful, but none of them have been discarded as an actor. It's important how I treat the work, and that's the essence. In the past, I thought that the result was more important than the process, but after 'Yes', the result of whether the work will be a big hit or a mess is unknown in advance, so now the process seems to be more important."

Released on the 17th, 'Don't Touch Dirty Money' is a story about two detectives who get caught up in an unplanned accident after dabbling in dirty money, dreaming of a complete crime to turn their lives around, and it is the feature debut of director Kim Min-soo, who wrote the screenplay for the movie 'Bulhan: The World of Bad Guys' and 'Kingmaker'. Jung-woo plays detective Myung-deuk, who looks behind illegal businesses during the day and takes care of the money behind him.
