In the 15th episode of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 『Mother's Friend Son" (scripted by Shin Ha-eun and directed by Yoo Je-won), Choi Seung-hyo (played by Jung Hae-in) and Bae Seok-ryu (played by Jung So-min) are finally discovered, and their love faces opposition from mothers. However, in the end, amid the reconciliation and understanding of parents, the romance between the two turned to victory, signaling a happy ending.
The broadcast on this day ranked first in the same time period, including cable and general service, with an average viewership of 7.0% and a maximum of 8.4% for households in the metropolitan area based on Nielsen Korea. In terms of households nationwide, the average viewership was 6.1 percent and up to 7.2 percent, renewing its own highest ratings.
After a secret relationship is discovered, Choi Seung-hyo and Bae Seok-ryu briefly part ways in the face of strong opposition from their parents.
