Held every December in Singapore, the AACA is Asia's largest content awards ceremony to review and award the Asian content market. Works submitted from 17 Asia-Pacific countries, including Korea, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam, will be nominated for the main prize through strict screening. Since then, through fierce competition, the best works in various categories such as directing, playwriting, special effects, and OTT will be selected, and the results of the main award will be revealed at the awards ceremony on December 3rd and 4th.
According to the list of nominations announced by AACA organizers on the 26th, among the works presented by CJ ENM, dramas 'Queen of Tears', 'Bounce With Sunjae', 'Wooden Misdiagnosis Day' and entertainment programs 'Apartment 404', 'Transfer Love 3', and 'Street Woman Fighter 2' were selected as the '2024 AACA National Winner', respectively, and were listed as representative contents of Korea.
First of all, the movie was nominated for the Best Direction-Fiction category and the Best Screenplay category for the film director Yoon Dae-young for the film "Best Cinematography" category. The "Original Program by a Streamer/OTT (Original Program by a Streamer/OTT)" category includes the "Original Program by a Streamer/OTT (Original Program by a Streamer/OTT)," which was released as a TVing original series.
CJ ENM's entertainment contents also boasted a global presence. Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Na-ra, Yang Se-chan, Jennie, and Lee Jung-ha were nominated in the Top 10 Amazon Prime Video TV Show category in a total of 23 countries and regions around the world (including English/non-English content) 'Apartment 404' was nominated in two categories:'Best Direction-Non-fiction' and'Best Game or Quiz Program'. It was released as a TVing original and was nominated for the Best General Entertainment category, and the Best Female Fighter2, which succeeded Mnet's Mega IP, was nominated for the Best Music or Dance category.
Meanwhile, CJ ENM has won the best drama award from 'AACA' to '25 21', the script award for 'Our Blues', the best OTT original award for the original 'Yumi Cells', and Mnet 'My Boyfriend is VERRER' has won the best entertainment and game program award. Attention is focusing on which CJ ENM's work will be honored in the '2024 AACA'.
