tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Jeongnyeoni' (played by Choi Hyo-bi, directed by Jung Ji-in) is a drama that depicts competition, solidarity, and brilliant growth over the age of the 'natural sound genius' who challenges the best Gukgeuk actor after the Korean War in the 1950s, and has drawn criticism that acting, directing, and story are all solid in the sensational subject of 'Women Gukgeuk'. As a result, the second episode recorded an average viewership of 8.9% and a maximum of 10.0% for households in the metropolitan area, and the highest viewership in the metropolitan area surpassed double digits in just two episodes, while proudly ranking first in the TV-OTT drama hot topic survey in the second week of October, successfully catching both viewership and buzz. (Based on Nielsen Korea's paid platform, Good Data Corporation)
In the second episode, the main character, Young-soo (Kim Tae-ri), was caught up in the provocation of a research student, Green (Hyun Seung-hee), and was in a situation where he could maintain his life as a Maeran National Theater Company only by seeking a regular performance audition script. In order to obtain a script for auditioning regular performances, the mission was added to play the role of 'Bangja' in the research student charity performance 'Chunhyangjeon' held only 10 days later. As a result, attention is being paid to whether the retirement age, who is experiencing Gukgeuk acting for the first time in his life, will be able to play the main role of 'Bangja' and leave the label of entering Mae-ran with Ok-kyung (Jeong Eun-chae) on his back.
Among them, the still, which was released, contains the image of the retirement age who turned into a banger, indicating that the day of the showdown has come. Young-soo's chestnut-like visuals, which are as humorous as the character Bang-ja, attract fans. On the other hand, while watching the stage from the backstage, the nervousness of the young man's grim expression waiting for his turn makes the viewer's heart pound.
In another still, Ko Min-yong is lying face down on the stage floor and not moving at once, catching the attention at once. Young-soo's eyes are full of embarrassment and anxiety as he lies on the floor and doesn't know what to do, so you can guess that something unexpected happened during the performance. As a result, questions about what happened to the retirement age rise vertically.
On the other hand, from Youngseo earlier, "How are you going to play Bangja?" Young-soo Lee, who was criticized for "Will you imitate the guest I played?" will struggle to find his own guest on the show. Attention is focusing on whether he will be able to find his own room and fly up from the brilliant national drama stage, as the retirement age shows.
Episode 3 of 'Jungnyeoni' will air at 9:20 p.m. on the 19th.
