'The Law of Love in the City'Nam Yoon-soo"Homosexuality, there was no burden of acting because it was not special"

On the afternoon of the 16th, a production presentation for the drama 『The Law of Love』 was held at the GGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Huh Jin-ho, Song Ji-young, Son Tae-gyeom, Kim Se-in, writer Park Sang-young, actors Nam Yoon-soo, Oh Hyun-kyung, Kwon Hyuk, Na Hyun-woo, Jin Ho-eun, and Kim Won-joong attended the meeting.
Asked how he felt about playing the leading character Ko Young at the production presentation, Nam Yoon-soo said, `I didn't worry much because I read the original work," he said, expressing confidence. The director's unique way of directing and elegance gave me faith, and I was able to act because of that faith"I explained why I chose this work. Also "I wanted to act and show acting that I could show well."," he added.
In particular, Nam Yoon-soo said that he naturally immersed himself in the role of Ko Young-young, an LGBTQ person, in 'The Love Act of the Large City'. He showed an attitude that went beyond prejudice against homosexuality acting, saying, `It just shows our love, but it's not special in general love.' "I wanted to draw my own love, which is not special but is loved in itself."He expressed a deep understanding and affection for the character.
'The Law of Love in the City' is a work produced in a unique way in which a total of four directors direct different episodes. In response, Nam Yoon-soo "The directors' directing methods were all different. However, I was able to trust and follow him because he created a comfortable atmosphere like a friend and a colleague on the spot"I enjoyed working with the directors." Noting that he was most impressed with his work with director Son Tae-gyeom, who directed episodes 1-2 in particular, he recalled that `Son's scene had an aura in itself, and it was really nice to be able to act in it.'
Ko Young in the work is a character who deals with a long chronicle ranging from 20s to 30s and experiences various love. Nam Yoon-soo wanted to tell the story of love that we can all experience through the love of Ko Young, her relationship with her mother, and her stories with different lovers," he said, expressing the message he wanted to convey through his work.
In particular, Nam Yoon-soo "Koyoung's love is a common love that is not special enough in itself. Nevertheless, I wanted to show you how precious and genuine that love is," he said, explaining his philosophy of acting.
He also said, `I think movies and dramas have different charms. He expressed his expectation for the work, saying, "'Loving Law in a Large City' will give viewers a special experience through the charm of the drama."
Finally, Nam Yoon-soo wrote, "Even in the midst of controversy and difficulties, more messages of support came."I have a belief that I can move forward", he expressed his feelings.
The drama `The Law of Love in the City' will be released on the 21st.
