▶ I heard that Lee Young-pyo provided the planning idea for 'Bolundier', how did you come up with this concept?
"I knew that soccer and futsal hobbyists usually wanted to play with legendary players, so I wanted to satisfy that." But rather than just playing the game, I thought it would be more fun and meaningful if it was a form of playing with 'Donation'. ▶ How do you feel about playing with legendary junior players such as Hyun Young-min, Kim Young-kwang, and Jung Dae-se after a long time?
"Sometimes we kick the ball together. They're the players who played soccer together, and I think it's fun to play soccer together, so I think we laugh a lot while being together."
▶ The average age of the Polundier team is 39, are you physically okay?
"Everyone's body has gone..."It became a normal body. I thought I had to increase the amount of training because I ran worse than I thought."
▶ What's the charm of a different 'Footsal' from soccer?
"Football has one ball and 22 players play. In comparison, futsal has a lot of ball touches because 10 people play. In addition, playing in a small space requires more detailed play. I think these parts are the charm of futsal. And because the stadium is narrower than the soccer field, there is no full speed, so the risk of injury is less than that of soccer. I think this is one of the charms of futsal as well."
▶ What is difficult about playing futsal unlike soccer?
"When I played futsal, there was a formula of futsal. There is Futsal's own way of creating space, and appropriate strategies are added to it. However, this seems to act as a factor that makes futsal difficult for unfamiliar people. It is also true that it was not easy to play against those who have been working together for a long time in futsal because different movements and strategies are required from soccer."
▶ How do you feel about playing against the general public club team?
"First of all, it was really fun. The general club members were better than us. (Laughs) Actually, since the other person was a general club member, I tried my best not to get hurt. However, many of the clubs were actually professional players, and there were many high-quality players among the general public, so I was able to play fun games. Seeing the opponent play really hard, we were able to do our best to play as well."
