Choi Soo-in said at the press and distribution premiere of the movie `Minimal Goodwill' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 15th, `I knew it simply and clearly because I had not experienced pregnancy in person.' `While filming, I received a lot of help from my mother and Jang Yoon-joo"
Released on the 30th, 'Minimal Goodwill' is a work in which Hee-yeon, a high school teacher who was stressed by infertility, is confused by the pregnancy of Yumi, a class student, but she considers Yumi's situation and asks us all questions about the good will she can do, and director Kim Hyun-jung took the megaphone.
Choi Soo-in played Yumi, a high school student who was confused by a sudden pregnancy. When he first read the scenario, he thought that Yumi's character and personality were similar to mine as a fresh high school graduate. Also, as I dealt with 'goodwill' in the relationship between the teacher and Yumi, I thought it would be great to work with Jang Yoon-ju in this work," he said.
Then, regarding the difficulties during the acting, "I knew simply and clearly because I had never experienced pregnancy and childbirth firsthand. I asked my mom for advice because I needed to know what symptoms I would have if I was sick (physically) and why I was having a hard time playing Yumi, or if I had postpartum depression. Also, what was really fortunate was that Jang Yoon-joo was pregnant, so I asked a lot of questions about what I didn't know at the time while filming."
