The film, which is set to premiere on November 23, depicts a war-like romance between a man Seok Ji-won (Joo Ji-hoon) and a woman Yoon Ji-won (Jeong Yu-mi), who are the same age as the enemy's family, reunite after 18 years. The two, who were separated by a painful summer separation at 18, meet again as a chairman of Dokmok High School and a physical education teacher, continuing their tangled bad relationship.

The drama was produced jointly by director Park Joon-hwa, who directed 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' and 'Welcome' and writer Lim Ye-jin of 'Lovely Moonlight' and 'Chosun Loco-Nokdujeon'.
The production team showed great acting chemistry between Joo Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi. The two actors carefully received each other's feelings and brought each scene to life. Their harmonious 'MAPDAN CHEMI' will further increase the sense of immersion in the play, so please look forward to it."
