 Entertainment edition 'Squid Game' became! 'Black and White Chef' topped the global charts for 3 consecutive weeks

Netflix entertainment 'Black and White Chef: Cooking Class Wars' and the series 'Kyung Kritzer' are proving the power of K-content by generating a hot response in the global market.

According to Netflix's TOP 10 website on September 9, 'Black and White Cooks: The War of Cooking Classes' topped the list in four countries, including South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan, with 4 million views from Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, and ranked in the Top 10 of 18 countries in total. As a result, 'Black and White Chef' has achieved the feat of topping the non-English language TV category on Netflix for three consecutive weeks. This is the first time that Netflix Korea entertainment has topped the global rankings for three consecutive weeks.

'Black and White Chef: Cooking Class Wars' is a fierce cooking battle between star chefs and Jaya's master chefs, and in the last episode, a creative mission and a tense battle were held to determine the winner. The final winner is "Life in the kitchen is not wrong.""The runner-up left a touching impression, and "I want to keep going despite my age.""It touched me.

Season 2 of 'Gyeongseong Kritzer' is also gaining worldwide popularity. Set in Seoul in 2024, Season 2 entered the Top 10 in 30 countries, including France, Hungary, India, and Japan, ranking second in the Netflix global non-English series category for the second consecutive week. In particular, thanks to the popularity of season 2, season 1 has backtracked, ranking in the top 10 in 11 countries, including Bangladesh and Hong Kong, and ranked 9th in the non-English series.

The "Gyeongseong Kritzer" series is creating a binge-watching craze among viewers around the world, with its deep narrative and actors' passionate performances set in Gyeongseong in 1945 and Seoul in 2024.

The variety shows 'Black and White Cooks' and the series 'Kyung Kritzer' are both gaining popularity on Netflix, once again showing off the global influence of K-content. Attention is focusing on whether these works will continue to be popular among viewers around the world.
