Kakao Entertainment announced that seasons 1 and 2 of Gyeongseong Creature recorded 4.6 million viewers during the integrated week from the 30th of last month to October 6th. This figure is higher than the number one in Netflix's global top 10 series (non-English) during the same period, proving the enthusiastic response of viewers.
In particular, Season 2 of 'Hyeongseong Kritzer' received 3.7 million viewers, ranking second in the Netflix Global Top 10 Series (non-English). Not only Korea, but also Japan, France, Hungary, Morocco, Hong Kong, India, and Singapore are on the top 10 list, continuing their global popularity. After it was released on September 27, it ranked second with 3.1 million views in three days, and continued its rise in box office in the second week, raising high expectations.
At the same time, Season 1 of 'Gyeongseong Creature', which was released at the end of last year, attracted attention by ranking ninth globally with 900,000 viewers during the same period. Thanks to the popularity of season 2, season 1 also registered a reverse chart and re-entered the Netflix Global Top 10 Series (non-English). Season 1 of 'Gyeongseong Creatures' is gaining huge popularity worldwide, making the top 10 in 11 countries, including Korea, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Season 2 of 'Gyeongseong Kritzer' depicts a story of Taesang, Hojo, and Chae-ok meeting and digging into unfinished relationships and bad relationships. The story set in Gyeongseong in 1945 in season 1 returned to a more colorful action and affectionate romance 79 years later, and actors such as Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Su-hyun, Lee Moo-saeng and Bae Hyun-sung are attracting the attention of domestic and foreign viewers.
