Actor Kim Sung-chul (32), who played the role of Jung Jin-soo in the Netflix series 'Hell' Season 2, expressed his feelings about joining the series and his deep affection for the character.

Actors Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Sung-chul, Kim Shin-rok, Im Sung-jae, Moon So-ri, Moon Geun-young and Yeon Sang-ho, and Choi Kyu-seok attended the production presentation held at JW Marriott Dongdaemun in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 21st, raising expectations for the work.

Season 2 of 'Hell' depicts the confusion caused by the conflict between Sodo, Sajinnihoe, and arrowhead forces, centering on Chairman Jeong Jin-soo and Park Jung-ja of the revived Saejinnihoe in a world where angelic notices and demonstrations are prevalent. We are ready to capture viewers around the world through unpredictable stories that take place in a deeper and more expanded world view.

Kim Seong-cheol enjoyed Season 1 very much and wanted to work with director Yeon Sang-ho. I was happy throughout my acting because the character Jung Jin-soo was attractive" he said.

He added that he focused on portraying the character's complex emotions, saying, `I had a deep conversation with the director to express Jung Jin-soo's resurrection and his inner side in three dimensions.'

Hell Season 2 depicts a more chaotic world centered on the revival of the chairman of the Saejin Council, Jeong Jin-soo, who made a big splash in Season 1. Kim Sung-chul will take on the role of Jung Jin-soo as Yoo Ah-in's successor and take on a new challenge. In season 1, Jung Jin-soo went through hell by receiving a supernatural 'Goji', and this season, he will show how he builds new beliefs in chaos after his revival.

Kim Sung-chul pondered a lot about what state Jeong Jin-soo, who survived in hell and fear for eight years, would be like after his resurrection. He has a feeling of being pressed and chased inside him"The focus was on expressing the fear in the eyes and pain."

Kim Sung-chul also tried to express Jung Jin-soo's style closer to the original cartoon. I wanted to faithfully embody the original, not only the hairstyle and appearance, but also the inner side of the character" he said. He continued "The revived Jung Jin-soo deeply agonized over the gap he felt between the doctrine of the Saejin-ri Council and his personal conflict and played it."

Kim Sung-chul, who took over the role of Jung Jin-soo, who Yoo Ah-in played in season 1, was asked if he felt pressured. "Season 1 was loved a lot, but I tried to interpret the character Jung Jin-soo in my own way. I wanted to add charm to the character through a new story."

The story of season 2 revolves around the confrontation between Sodo, Saejinrihoe, and Arrowhead, which takes place in a society where supernatural notices and demonstrations are prevalent. Kim Seong-cheol expressed his anticipation for the work, saying, `The revival of Jung Jin-soo will be an important clue to starting a new story amid confusion and fear.'

Meanwhile, season 2 of the Netflix series 'Hell' will be released on the 25th, and Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Shin-rok, Moon Geun-young, Lim Sung-jae, and Moon So-ri will appear to provide a more intense ensemble and immersion.
