Director Kim Won-seok said in a 'Special Talk: Remembering the Late Lee Sun-kyun - My Mister' held at Lotte Cinema Centum City branch in Haeundae-gu, Busan on the afternoon of the 4th that `Sun-kyun is a person similar to Park Dong-hoon.'
The 2018 drama 'My Mister' tells the story of three brothers who are enduring the weight of their lives in their own ways, and a tough and cold woman who is different from them but has been going through difficulties in life, looking at the other's life and healing each other. Director Kim Won-seok and writer Park Hae-young, who directed 'Misaeng' and 'Signal', have drawn attention with their trusted production lineup.
The late Lee Sun-kyun performed enthusiastically as Park Dong-hoon, the second of the three brothers. He is a silent and quiet personality, but he delicately expresses the middle-aged role of this madly lovely era. Director Kim said, `Sun-kyun is the same person as Dong-hoon. He is a person who can exist in real life, but he is actually a character with an unusual fantasy. But if you say it's similar (to Park Dong-hoon), wouldn't it be burdensome in heaven. I liked Lee Sun-kyun who actually existed rather than fantasy characters."
