After the movie, it came to a drama. While the TVing drama 『The Love Act』 has attracted viewers with a different charm from the movie, Park Sang-young, the original author and the writer who wrote the screenplay, told the behind-the-scenes story of the creative process and the message contained in the work.

On the morning of the 23rd, an interview was held at a place in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul to commemorate the publication of the drama 'The Law of Love in a Large City'. Writer Park Sang-young, who wrote the drama, attended the event.

'How to Love in a Large City' is a youth romance about the writer 'Go Young' learning life and love through various meetings. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, the drama was divided into four directors for each episode and completed into a movie-like series.

First, Park Sang-young explained that movies and dramas of love methods in large cities are attracting audiences and viewers with their different charms. He said, `The movie is more of a growth product that is pleasantly solved around the relationship between Jae-hee and Heung-soo,' highlighting Jae-hee's freewheeling charm and Heung-soo's inner conflict. "If the movie contains Jae-hee's extended narrative, the drama deeply explores the love and life of an LGBTQ person, centering on the character Ko Young." Park, who described the genre of the drama as close to a melodrama, added, `Each director has a different emotional line in each episode, providing a richer viewing experience.'

The story of Nam Yoon-soo, who plays Ko Young in the drama, was also mentioned. Recalling when Nam Yoon-soo was cast as Ko Young, Park said it was the moment he shouted "Eureka." He was so sure that Nam Yoon-soo would play Ko Young perfectly that he had a shamanistic hunchActor Nam Yoon-soo said he was moved by his unrestrained performance as he immersed himself in the work. Nam Yoon-soo's delicate acting and approach were very satisfactory, given that the character Ko Young is close to an autobiographical story.

The drama was directed by four directors: Heo Jin-ho, Hong Ji-young, Son Tae-gyeom, and Kim Se-in. Writer Park cheerfully expressed her feelings by saying that collaborating with several directors was "It felt like the eldest daughter-in-law was serving four mother-in-law". "It was interesting because different directors had different styles, and I learned a lot from the creative process that I fully believe in and follow." In particular, he said he liked episodes 5-6 directed by Hong Ji-young the most. "I think the story of the two characters, Young and Kyu-ho, is an integer-like scene that captures the essence of love. If I had taken it, I would have taken it like this."

Meanwhile, before the work was released, there were voices of opposition from conservative groups. In response, Park said at a production presentation, `I wanted to spread the word about my work, so I wondered how much I wanted to do that," he said jokingly. In this regard, Park expressed her willingness to use this as an opportunity, saying, `It is common for a work to draw attention as there is a controversy.' Noting the enthusiastic response from fans in online communities such as Twitter, he said "Every time I see reviews from viewers who have left feelings after a deep relationship, I feel rewarded"

The law of love in big cities deals with the realistic life of LGBTQ people. Writer Park emphasized that `This drama is in reality.' The actors also explored the queer community to save the details of the work and said they were careful not to over-objectify the main characters' emotional lines.

In this regard, Park said, "I wanted to convey real feelings of love to the viewers through realistic and honest moments like T-ara's songs in the beginning of the play," he said.

After this work, Park plans to continue various challenges. He reported that he is currently working on a script for his second work based on another original. He "I want to keep writing stories that break the existing taboos and unwritten rules." reported the wind.

Writer Park then said, "I hope that "The Law of Love in a Large City" will be an opportunity for someone to realize themselves and a moment for others to reminisce about past love." In addition, dramas and movies were released at the same time, and "October became the month of the great city" conveyed the joke and honestly expressed the lingering feeling and sense of accomplishment of the work.
