"I thought the time after watching was more important than the time when watching."

Director Yeon Sang-ho is back with the second season of the Netflix series Hell. Director Yeon Sang-ho, who presented a new story and an expanded world view to viewers while solving the mystery left by his previous work, expressed his hope that seasons 1 and 2 go beyond simple stories and continue to talk after watching.

Director Yeon Sang-ho met with Sports Chosun at somewhere in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 29th and conducted an interview on the release of season 2 of Netflix 'Hell'.

Season 2 of 'Hell' depicts a world that has become more confused by the continuous notice of hell, and the story of Sodo's lawyer Min Hye-jin, Saejin's group, and arrowhead forces becoming newly entangled over the suddenly revived Chairman Jung Jin-soo and Park Jung-ja.

First of all, about actor Kim Sung-chul, who newly took on the role of `Jeong Jin-soo,' Yeon said, `Kim Sung-chul's performance gave a new charm while maintaining the original's identity", he commented. I couldn't ask Kim Sung-chul to imitate the acting style of Yoo Ah-in, who played 'Jeong Jin-soo' in the previous series. Director Yeon spared praise, saying, `Actor Kim Sung-chul tried hard to naturally incorporate the character into the story by reconstructing the original 'Jeong Jin-soo' with his own interpretation.'

As for actor Kim Shin-rok, who played the role of the revived `Park Jung-ja' in this season, Yeon praised him, saying, `He is an actor who thoroughly controls the tone of his eye blinkers and lines.' "Kim Shin-rok's method of acting and creative expression are something that director Yeon trusts completely. He commented that Kim Shin-rok performed impressively even in the complex world view of hell.

Director Yeon picked Moon Geun-young, who returned to the camera after a long time, as another notable actor. He drew warmth by saying, `I hoped that Moon Geun-young's return would signal a new beginning as an actor, not just a comeback.' There was also a behind-the-scenes story at the filming site, and Moon Geun-young drew attention by revealing her quiet yet intense presence. He expected Moon Geun-young to be loved again by viewers"I was deeply moved by her acting skills."

Director Yeon emphasized that the hell series wanted to throw the theme of "What story to believe and follow" beyond just a story. He said he wanted to give the audience freedom of choice, and he thought that the lingering effects and dialogue through it were more important than focusing on the ending of the story through this season.

Director Yeon Sang-ho, who makes viewers and audiences have expectations every time with various and fresh stories, cited 'the past self' as the source of inspiration and creation. He said "When I try to tell a story with thoughts that are different from the past, stories seem to be formed different from the past"If the secret is to constantly take on new challenges and put me to the limit, it's a secret" he said.

It also talked about expanding the world view of 'Hell'. He wants to extend the 'Hell' world view to the 'Gundam' world view"I want to aim for various creators to create a big world view by adding their own interpretations and stories." reported the wind.

Meanwhile, season 2 of Netflix 'Hell' tells the story of characters who clash with each other, citing their beliefs in a society where angelic notices and lion demonstrations have become commonplace. It was released on Netflix on the 25th.
