'Natural Singer' dealt with the first national drama in South Korea 'Yoon-yi' with a viewership of up to 6.8%.'

'Jungnyeon'Kim Tae-ri set foot in the world of the first Korean drama, heralding the birth of a new 'Life work'.

In the first episode of tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama "Jungnyeon" (written by Choi Hyo-bi, directed by Jung Ji-in), which premiered on the 12th, the story of Yoon Jeong-nyeon (Kim Tae-ri), who had the qualities of a natural singer but lived a normal life selling fish in her hometown Mokpo, stepped into the national drama world with a fateful opportunity.

Young-su, who worked in the sea with her mother Yong-rye (Moon So-ri) and her sister Jeong-ja (Oh Kyung-hwa) in Mokpo, sold fish, and continued her tough life, knew that her talent for sound would make money, but she was living a taboo because of her use of hate speech.

Then one day, Young-soo came to the market and got angry at the bad boy Chang-ho (Oh Dae-hwan), who threatened to pay the seat tax, and took out his only weapon called 'Sori'. In the middle of the market, which was turned into a chaos with bullies and merchants who smashed their racks, Young-soo suddenly began singing Namwonsanseong Fortress, and soon, those who were caught up by the sound of Young-soo forgot the previous disturbance and gradually listened. This was the same for Changjo. After finishing the sound, Young-soo insisted that "If you heard the sound, pay for the sound." Chang-ho, who had nothing to say, left the room, promising the next thing.

And there were some unexpected people who saw this scene. Moon Ok-kyung (Jeong Eun-chae) and Seo Hye-rang (Kim Yoon-hye), the stars of the greatest national theater company of the time, came down to Mokpo for a tour and witnessed the commotion. Among them, Ok-kyung found a talent in the imposing nature and outstanding tone of Min Young-hee, who dominated the audience, and invited him to his performance with the desire to enter the national drama world.

After learning that Ok-kyung, who showed interest in him, was a superstar in the national drama world called the `Prince of Maeran', and that he could live a rich life if he became a popular national drama actor. And `I have to see with my own eyes what a gukgeuk is to make money like that,' said Ko Min-yong, who visited the concert hall of Maeran Gukgeuk Company with a slightly secular mind, was overwhelmed by the ecstasy in front of her and the enormous charisma of Okgyeong.

At the same time, Ok-kyung successfully finished her performance in Mokpo, but she fell into trouble. It became the target of an article dealing with the suspicion of opium dosing by a popular actor of a famous Korean theater company. Kang So-bok (Ramiran), the head of Mae-ran, declared that he would deny the contents of the article written anonymously, but threatened Ok-kyung to stay in Mokpo for the time being until the case calms down, and returned to Seoul with the Gukgeuk Company.

Ok-kyung's life in Mokpo became an opportunity for Young-soo. The retirement age, who was so immersed in Gukgeuk that he couldn't sleep at night, visited Okgyeong as soon as he woke up the next morning, and Okkyung hinted at the possibility of becoming a Gukgeuk actor, saying, `You are a natural singer.' Young-soo was excited by Ok-kyung's praise, but he was in conflict when he recalled his mother's usage against speaking. However, he also decided to get out of the boring reality of retirement age after seeing the behavior of Chang-ho and his gang who were acting in the market again for a while. Then I go to Okgyeong and "Even if there is death in my mom's hands, let's make a lot of money with that skill. He asked for help, saying, "Get out of this Mokpo floor and split into Seoul, please tell me if I have to do muscle." As a result, the retirement age began secret tutoring with Okgyeong to audition for researchers of the Maeran Gukgeuk Company, and the vague dreams gradually became clearer while studying insufficient dance and acting.

But with the audition just around the corner, I ended up dead. Yongrye discovered the script of Young-hee's 'Chunhyangjeon' and learned that she had been preparing to become a Gukgeuk actor. Yongrye was so enraged that she locked him in a warehouse after fierce opposition. The audition was just around the corner, but the retirement age was stuck in a warehouse and couldn't move, and Ok-kyung even went to the pavilion a day before leaving for Seoul, worried about the retirement age that had been cut off. Jeongja, who had been in pain because he couldn't help the retirement age at Yongrye's threat, decided to keep his dream of retirement age, and decided to take care of all the after-effects, and opened the tightly closed warehouse door and sent him to Okkyung's arms, who was waiting for the retirement age. As a result, the first episode ended with the retirement age, who chose to run away at night, believing in his dream of becoming a national drama actor, entering the audition hall of the Maeran National Theater Company, and questions soared about what would happen to the retirement age who abandoned everything and came to the Maeran National Theater Company.

On the other hand, in the opening of the show, the narrative of Gyeongseong and the singer girl Chae Gong-seon (Lee Ga-eun) was revealed in 1931. Gongseon, who fled the soundpan along with his father (Lee Deok-hwa) and was beholden to the house of master singer Imjin (Kang Ji-eun) to avoid Um Dong-seol-han, asked Imjin to become a student despite his father's dissuasion, and further showed off his natural talent in front of Imjin and his girl student (Choi Jeong-woon), raising questions about who the girl named Gongseon is. In addition, Yongrye, who was upset because of her retirement age to speak in the play, was seen taking out a picture of Gongseon and Imjin's student in her arms, raising a question mark about the relationship between Yongrye and Gongseon.

On the other hand, 'Jungnyeoni' created exclamations by creating beautiful and structured stories of actors who seemed to be wearing perfect clothes, lively 1950s scenery and sensational national drama mise-en-scène, catchy Korean traditional music melodies, and interesting narratives. In particular, Kim Tae-ri perfectly digested the sparkle of retirement age, which is united with talent and star quality, as if all kinds of potentials would break out of eggs at any moment, turning her expectations for Kim Tae-ri who returned into confidence.

At the same time, the viewer rating of 'Jeongnyeon' started well, averaging 5.7%, up to 6.8%, and up to 5.9% in the national household, ranking first in the cable-general service at the same time. (Based on paid platforms integrating cable, IPTV, and satellite/Courtesy of Nielsen Korea)
