Actors Hong-kyung, Noh Yoon-seo, and Kim Min-ju tell a refreshing and fresh love story through the movie Cheongseol.
On the afternoon of the 28th, the press and distribution premiere of the movie 'Cheongseol' was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Hong-kyung, Noh Yoon-seo, Kim Min-joo and Chosun-ho attended the site.
Released on November 6th, 'Cheongseol' is a story about the refreshing and exciting moments of Yong-joon going straight toward love and Autumn, a younger brother who supports the two, and director Cho Seon-ho of 'Haru' took the megaphone.
Director Cho commented on the production-focused part "It is a work that has a lot of volume acting in sign language without lines, but it must have been difficult for the actors to act. In my case, I was worried a lot before filming, but while filming, I focused on looking at people's eyes. The sincerity was revealed there, so I didn't have to worry"There was no sound during the second half of the work, so I thought a lot about how to fill the gap," he said.
At the same time, expectations are drawn to the actors' youth romance. Hong-kyung, who plays Yong-jun who goes straight in love, said, `When acting in sign language, we can't take our eyes off each other. I acted with those points in mind the most because I could see what kind of heart I had only when I looked into the other person's eyes. "It seems that there are many afterimages left in this work even after the shooting is over. It was a time to see what it was like to look into someone's heart," he said.
Then, while working with Noh Yoon-seo, he talked about the most memorable god. Hong-kyung said "When I first met Noh Yoon-seo, there was a god I fell in love with." At that time, I felt it with my own skin. When we first encountered each other in the pool, the feeling of that time was very memorable. "I was really nervous while filming."
Noh Yun-seo expressed his feelings about meeting with the audience with his first theater film 'Cheongseol'. "I experienced a VIP preview with the Netflix movie "20th Century Girl" and it was my first time having a press preview and a stage greeting event with "Cheongseol"," he said. "We're having our first stage greeting today, and I'm excited and nervous just to be able to face the audience in person."
Noh Yoon-seo, who played Yeoreum, a woman full of life, worked hard on her facial expressions as she communicated in sign language"We practiced sign language for about two or three months before shooting a movie, and we could get closer while practicing with the actors." While eating with the teachers, I was able to see how they communicate in real sign language and learn natural movements," he said.
Kim Min-ju is a swimmer who runs toward her dream and plays Yeoreum's younger brother, Autumn. He said "I'm grateful just to have participated in the movie"There were many things I was worried about because I didn't have much acting experience, but thankfully, I enjoyed the preparation process itself to meet Autumn, who had a lot of similarities to me. It is also interesting to meet the audience at the theater. I hope that the message of our movie touches a lot of people" he hinted at the wind.
In particular, 'Cheongseol' is a remake of a Taiwanese romance film of the same name that received attention even before its release. Kim Min-ju tried to express the warmth of the original work in our own new way. Rather than trying to resemble each other, I tried to understand it according to my character"Rather than bringing it from the original, I tried to focus on the character itself and act," he said. Director Cho also "Actually, the remake seems very difficult. At first, I had a lot of worries because it was a problem even if I did it too much, and even if I did it differently. Basically, I wanted to bring the purity of the original work, and I thought that I should fix it to suit the Korean sentiment. "I worked on it with the hope that the emotions of each character would be well contained" he said.
