Director Yeon Sang-ho returns with a powerful zombie movie.

According to the industry on the 23rd, director Yeon Sang-ho is preparing a new movie 'Collective'.

'Collective' is a word that refers to two or more homogeneous individuals living closely or being connected to each other. It is expected that a new zombie movie will be born different from the previous one.

Director Yeon Sang-ho has achieved unrivaled achievements in the zombie genre through the films 'Train to Busan', 'Pandae', and the animation 'Seoul Station'. In particular, 'Train to Busan' drew 10 million viewers and was greatly loved by the public. Expectations are high on whether he will write another box office myth through this 'group'. 'Collective' begins cranking in early next year and aims to be released next year.

It's not just that. Yeon's first independent film 'Face' is also about to be released. 'Face' tells the story of Lim Dong-hwan (Park Jung-min), the son of Lim Young-kyu (Kwon Hae-hyo), a blind artisan, who discovers the white bone body of his mother, who he thought went missing 40 years ago, and digs into the truth behind his death. Park Jung-min, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Shin Hyun-bin are expected to appear.

Director Yeon Sang-ho's moves continue on Netflix. The Netflix film 'Revelation' will be released in 2025, and it tells the story of a pastor who believes that the culprit of the disappearance is a revelation of God and a detective suffering from the illusion of his dead brother pursuing his faith. Ryu Jun-yeol and Shin Hyun-bin will star as the main characters.

Meanwhile, director Yeon Sang-ho's Netflix series 'Hell 2' is about to be released on the 25th.
