Actor Cho Woo-jin mentioned the process of trying to gain weight.

Cho Woo-jin met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 25th and gained weight to appear as a heavy character in his work"I worked out a lot while eating instant food" he said.

Disney+ original series 'Gangnam B-side', which was first released on the 6th, is a chase crime drama of three people involved for different reasons to pursue the case behind Gangnam, a detective and prosecutor looking for the club ace Jae-hee who disappeared from Gangnam, a mysterious broker, and Park Nuri of the movie 'Don'. Cho Woo-jin played Kang Dong-woo, an activist detective with a strong sense of justice and sharp judgment.

In particular, Cho Woo-jin was surprised when he revealed that he gained 18kg for his work. When I thought about the character, I thought it would be nice to look heavy. As I gained weight in a short period of time, I couldn't even take care of my health. While doing bulk up, I ate hamburgers and pizza the most. Also, I think it was the first time in my life that I exercised so intensely. My trainer asked me what I ate this morning and told me that if I answered, I would work out this much to build up my physique (laughs). After working out, I ate two or three hamburgers"I did weights at the abortion center almost every day, and I had to film, so I worked hard to manage my physical strength. I haven't done a lot of action in the works I've appeared in so far, but in "Gangnam B-side", I was going to show you a pleasant action that makes a big hit.

When asked if he had any difficulties with weight gain, he said "It was more difficult to gain weight due to his nature. When my body becomes heavy, my joints hurt. Currently, it is between 75 and 80 kilograms," he replied. Then "In the past, when the Whopper first came out, I ate up to five hamburgers while sitting down. Isn't the Whopper very big (laughs). When I filmed this work, I ate handmade burgers from various brands. Some places put peanut jam on handmade burgers and it was really good," he said with a smile.

Meanwhile 'Gangnam B-side' is released every Wednesday on Disney+ with a total of eight episodes, two each.
