Actor Cho Woo-jin expressed his joy at the positive response toward Gangnam B-side.

Cho Woo-jin met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 25th and said, `I'm happy to get a good response from global viewers.' `It's been a good driving force for me as well.'

Disney+ original series 'Gangnam B-side', which was first released on the 6th, is a chase crime drama of three people involved for different reasons to pursue the case behind Gangnam, a detective and prosecutor looking for the club ace Jae-hee who disappeared from Gangnam, a mysterious broker, and Park Nuri of the movie 'Don'.

According to Flixpatrol (OTT service ranking website) on the 19th, 'Gangnam B-side' enjoyed the top 10 Disney+ TV shows in seven countries, including Korea, and ranked second worldwide. In response, he `had no expectations at all. The movie has an audience, but I thought it would not be easy to judge the exact figures for the series. After communicating with the production company's CEO and director while sharing the results, I learned that this is a really surprising number. "I'm currently filming the Netflix movie "The Devil" and I think it's been a good driving force for me as well."

Cho Woo-jin played Kang Dong-woo, an activist detective with a strong sense of justice and sharp judgment in the play. On the acting-focused part, he said "I thought it was the most important thing to show you something I've never shown before.""I wanted to make the people who see the work feel new." Since Dong-woo is the most correct character among the characters, it seemed that the story would not be able to flow well unless he acted sincerely. I just wanted to chase down the authenticity of the character."

In particular, even before the release of the work, there were reactions that 'Gangnam B-side' reminds people of Burning Sun Gate. Cho Woo-jin said, `When I first received the script, I never thought of it (Burning Sun Gate)"I tried to express what the director covered in the process of making the work thoroughly based on text. " he explained.

Meanwhile 'Gangnam B-side' is released every Wednesday on Disney+ with a total of eight episodes, two each.
