The production presentation of the original Netflix series Trunk (written by Park Eun-young and directed by Kim Kyu-tae) was held at the Raum Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 26th. Director Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Jung Yoon-ha, Jo Eon-gun, Kim Dong-won and Kim Kyu-tae attended the event.
'Trunk' is a mystery melodrama about a secret marriage service that has begun to be revealed by a trunk floating on the lake and the strange marriage story of two men and women in it. Director Kim Kyu-tae, who directed dramas "Our Blues" and "It's Okay, It's Love," and writer Park Eun-young, who wrote "Hwarang," will join forces to present an unconventional and sensuous mystery melodrama. Attention is focusing on the acting of Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Cho Yoon-ha, Jo Eon-gun, and Kim Dong-won, who will deeply portray the relationship and emotions of various characters related to the "term marriage".
Director Kim Kyu-tae worked on directing "Trunk" from the beginning of the project. I was honestly a little embarrassed when I first got the script. Obviously, it was so much fun, but it was strange, fresh, novel, and literary. But the psychology and relationships of the characters in the play are not easily recognized. I myself fell in love with the work from the curiosity of what this is. Gradually, I sympathized with psychology and relationships. It's a work with such a unique charm. "Then I gradually sympathized with the psychology and relationship"It was a work with such a unique charm," he explained, raising expectations.
Seo Hyun-jin responded to why he appeared on Trunk"The director said he couldn't feel the emotions at once, and I liked that part."It was not written directly, but there was a lot of space, so I wanted to try it because I thought it would vary a lot depending on who did it."

While even high-level exposure and bed scenes are expected to appear in the keyword of fixed-term marriage in the play, director Kim Kyu-tae said, `Tone & Manor itself tells a real story with unrealistic settings, and bed scenes appear in the point of love between men and women. It seems to be a necessary part to express the character's character or situational emotional line. However, it was not used as a stimulating factor. He said, "I think I worked at an appropriate level because it was a god I needed for my work."
Gong Yoo also said there was `no room for concern or concern.' Seo Hyun-jin thought, `If it's necessary, I won't ask for as much as it's unnecessary. If not, I thought the coach would control it, so there was no problem."

Finally, Seo Hyun-jin said "I think 'Trunk' is not a drama that tries to challenge the value of marriage." When you have a relationship or a relationship, you have good feelings, but you also have feelings of abyss that reveal the bottom. Wouldn't there be a relationship that can be given to characters and saved and killed each other when they get tangled up? I thought it was a drama that did something. It is not a drama that asks whether the current marriage system is correct about the marriage system. It's such a provocative subject that you can get hooked on it, but when I act in a drama, fixed-term marriage is just a device"
Trunk will be released on Netflix on the 29th.
