The production presentation of the original Netflix series Trunk (written by Park Eun-young and directed by Kim Kyu-tae) was held at the Raum Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 26th. Director Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Jung Yoon-ha, Jo Eon-gun, Kim Dong-won and Kim Kyu-tae attended the event.
Gong Yoo "I think he liked the planning intentions of the original work. Wouldn't it be a work that tells the story of love and relationships in a different way. I thought it would be interesting to see that there could be various interpretations depending on the original point of view, so I did it. And I thought it would be an opportunity to meet Oh Hae-young, who I liked more than anything else."
'Trunk' is a mystery melodrama about a secret marriage service that has begun to be revealed by a trunk floating on the lake and the strange marriage story of two men and women in it. Director Kim Kyu-tae, who directed dramas "Our Blues" and "It's Okay, It's Love," and writer Park Eun-young, who wrote "Hwarang," will join forces to present an unconventional and sensuous mystery melodrama. Attention is focusing on the acting of Seo Hyun-jin, Gong Yoo, Cho Yoon-ha, Jo Eon-gun, and Kim Dong-won, who will deeply portray the relationship and emotions of various characters related to the "term marriage".
Trunk will be released on Netflix on the 29th.
