The released stills draw attention by capturing the multi-layered images of those who look like strong compatriots from a distance, but are intricately intertwined like spider webs.
First, Kook-hee (Song Joong-ki), who came to Bogota to hold on to the last remaining hope of her life, struggles to earn the trust of Sergeant Park, the barometer of success. Byung-jang Park (Kwon Hae-hyo) also recognizes his persistence, but he amplifies questions about their relationship with his wary eyes as if he doesn't fully trust him. Suyeong (Lee Hee-joon), who has noticed Kook-hee who risks his life to do anything, gives him a dangerous proposal. Suyeong's friendly behavior toward Kook-hee makes him look forward to the future development of what kind of inside is hidden.
Park Byeong-jang, the heavyweight of the smuggling market, and Suyeong, the second-in-command, sometimes have a good laugh, but sometimes they are wary of each other, creating tension. It provides dramatic fun with the relationship between the three people in different nerve wars around Kook-hee and the unpredictable suspense of what the choice of Kook-hee will produce.
On top of that, small boss Park (Park Ji-hwan), who sets an angle with swimming, Jae-woong (Cho Hyun-chul), who is a junior in swimming and checks Kook-hee, and Geun-tae (Kim Jong-soo), the father of Kook-hee, who cannot take root in Bogota and is being destroyed endlessly. The tense narratives of characters entangled by their own desires and goals will enrich the fun of the play.
In this way, between faith and doubt, the fight between the unknown characters and their stories are expected to attract audiences during the year-end and New Year holidays.
'Bogota: The Land of the Last Chance' is a film about a man heading to Bogota, Colombia, on the other side of the world with new hopes, right after the IMF, becoming entangled with influential figures in Bogota's Korean community. Song Joong-ki, Lee Hee-joon, Kwon Hae-hyo, Park Ji-hwan, Cho Hyun-chul, and Kim Jong-soo appeared, and director Kim Sung-je of 『Minor Opinion" took the megaphone. It will be released on the 31st.
