Lee Hee-joon said at the press and distribution premiere of the movie 'Bogota: Land of Last Chance' at Megabox COEX in Seoul on the afternoon of the 19th, `I went to salsa academy to feel the local rhythm of Colombia.'
Released on the 31st, 'Bogota: The Land of Last Chance' (hereinafter 'Bogota') is a movie about Kook-hee (Song Joong-ki) heading to Bogota, Colombia, on the other side of the world with new hope, intertwined with Sooyoung (Lee Hee-joon) and Park Byeong-jang (Kwon Hae-hyo), influential figures in the Korean community in Bogota, and director Kim Sung-je of 'Minor Opinion' took the megaphone.
Lee Hee-jun played Suyeong, the No. 2 in the Korean smuggling market and a customs broker. When asked about his feelings ahead of the release of the film, he said "I watched the movie today, and I remember the hard work we all had together. I've been waiting so long for the release that it feels unrealistic that the microphone I'm holding now reads 'Bogota'. I'm so touched to finally be able to meet the audience."
Recalling the filming process of the overseas location, he went to a salsa academy to feel the local rhythm, and went to a dance academy on days when there was no filming. We always talked a lot about the work because we filmed in a safe area in a limited space."
