Director Kwon Hyuk-jae said at the CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 16th, `I talked to director Jang Jae-hyun on the phone before and after the movie was filmed, and he gave me a lot of support.'
Released on Jan. 24, 2025, 'Black Nuns' is a movie about people going out to a prohibited ceremony to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit, and director Kwon Hyuk-jae, who directed 'Solver' and 'Count', took the megaphone.
Black nuns is the follow-up to the films starring Kang Dong-won and Kim Yun-seok that attracted attention even before their release. In response, director Kwon first formed a relationship with director Jang Jae-hyun, who directed "Black Priests" with the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. I've always been close to him, and he's a director I really like. When I first read the scenario 'Black nuns', I was tingling and left a great lingering impression. It was based on the advice and ideas of the best staff, so I thought I could create a unique color for 'black nuns'.
Because of the production company IP, it was a burden to continue the world view well, but I prepared it with the mindset that I would not be able to be a good work. I also talked to director Jang Jae-hyun on the phone before and during the shooting, and he gave me a lot of support for the movie. "The movie will be released soon, and I want to show it to fans who like director Jang Jae-hyun naturally."," he said of the wind.
