KBS2"Secrets of the Celeb Soldier", which will be broadcast for the first time on the 10th, is Korea's first medical storytelling entertainment program that explores the world of disease and medicine through the life and death of celebrities. The main character of the first episode is 'King of rock and roll'Elvis Presley, whose sudden death brings medical questions to viewers.
On August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley was found dead in the bathroom of Graceland, a mansion in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. The official cause of death was a heart attack, but his death remains a number of suspicions and mysteries. MC Lee Chan-won, Jang Do-yeon, (G)I-DLE Mi-yeon, and 'Doctor Friends' Lee Nak-jun joined forces to reveal this. Together with forensic scientist Professor Na Joo-young, they analyze Elvis' autopsy data and highlight why he was found dead in the bathroom. In particular, Professor Na Joo-young's conclusion about the identity of the 'red threadbare found in Elvis' mouth shocks everyone.
On this day, Lee Chan-won also revealed his personal story and showed empathy for Elvis' death. He transforms himself into `Chanvis Presley' with perfect singing ability, revealing that he naturally learned Elvis' hits thanks to his father, who was a big fan of Elvis as a child. In addition, he confessed to his sleep disorder experience in an extreme schedule last year, deeply sympathizing with the pain Elvis must have suffered, making the atmosphere of the set solemn.
MC Jang Do-yeon and Lee Chan-won revitalize the program by boasting fantastic 'Brother and Sister Chemistry' despite their first breath. Jang Do-yeon, who specializes in storytelling, and Lee Chan-won, armed with extensive knowledge, serve as a strong central axis of the program.
Mi-yeon (G)I-DLE, who challenged her first fixed MC through 'Secrets of a Celeb Soldier', adds vitality to the program with her overflowing curiosity. Mi-yeon, who expressed her affection by saying, `It's a program that I would have watched even if I didn't appear on it,' constantly asks questions and represents the curiosity of viewers. In particular, she focuses on the 20kg 'it' that was in Elvis Presley's body, tracing the clues that link it to the cause of death.
Here, cooking creator Yoon Nam-no appears as a special guest to recreate the sandwich that Elvis enjoyed eating during his lifetime. Yoon Nam-no re-examines Elvis' unique food habits, saying, `This is a style that even I can't pull off.'
Meanwhile, 'Secrets of a Celeb Soldier' will premiere on KBS2 at 8:30 p.m. on the 10th.
