First, the temple scenes that appear as major locations in the movie were filmed at famous temples across the country, including Baekyangsa Temple, Gilsangsa Temple, Suseongsa Temple, and Gakwonsa Temple. Scenes from temples shot at famous temples across the country, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Jeonnam, and Cheonan, convey a sense of liveliness that cannot be implemented with CG, and will give you visual satisfaction as if you were visiting an actual temple on a theater screen, making you more immersed in the movie. In addition, the nursery, which appears as an important place in the play, was filmed at Eonyang Cathedral in Ulsan, and the scenes of Ham Moon-seok (Lee Seung-ki) walking around Paldo across the country to find the secret of his birth were filmed at various locations across the country, including Jecheon Hoban-ro and Cheongpyeong Dam. Finally, the amusement park scene, one of the main scenes of the film, was filmed at the actual Lotte World located in Jamsil, further upgrading the quality of the film.
Director Son Won-ho, who was in charge of filming, said "Since the background of the film was 2000, I found the spatial background as a place to make use of the feeling around 2000. I tried to make the feeling of the space itself as vivid and natural as possible," he said. As for the location of the temple, which appears as a major scene in the movie, "The temple or hermitage shooting had to be taken very carefully when there were no people. It was filmed much earlier or later than the usual location and tried to capture the scenery of the temple or hermitage in full"It gave a glimpse of the efforts of the production team hidden in the movie's outstanding visual beauty.
Meanwhile, 'Expand Family' is a family comedy that will be released on December 11th when cute grandchildren who have never seen the world come to the owner of the dumpling restaurant 'Pyeongmanok' because of his son (Lee Seung-gi), who became a monk.
