Director Yang Woo-seok, who directed the movie 「The Big Family」, shared his views on social issues and stories about the movie ahead of its release.

Director Yang Woo-seok met with Sports Chosun at a place in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 4th and talked about the movie 'extra-family'.

The movie 'The Big Family' is a family comedy in which cute grandchildren who have never seen the world come to the owner (Kim Yoon-seok) of the dumpling restaurant 'Pyeong Man-ok' because of his son (Lee Seung-ki) who became a monk.



Prior to the full-fledged interview, head coach Yang Woo-seok expressed his opinion on the declaration of emergency martial law the day before.

Director Yang said, `I understand that the martial law system is a legal device in which the military intervenes when the police and the administration cannot resolve it, but in my personal opinion, the Republic of Korea is not in this situation right now.''There is no reason for the military to maintain order.'."



Then "It is possible to lift martial law depending on the quorum of the National Assembly, and after a long time, I came up with the provisions of the law a few decades ago, but I decided that the situation would not be very complicated." The situation was also sorted out faster than expected.'

Regarding the issue that arose ahead of the return of the first film in four years, director Yang said, "When these issues arise, the public will usually be surprised, embarrassed, and tired, but the more you do this, the more you can feel various emotions with the person next to you in the theater." "I think it would be good to wash away your fatigue with our movie."," he said.



The movie 'The Big Family' will be released on December 11th.
