Kang Pul, who is popular with the Disney+ original series 'Light Shop', told the behind-the-scenes story of the casting of actor Park Jung-min, who appeared in the last cookie video.

Writer Kang Pul met with Sports Chosun at somewhere in Samcheong-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of the 24th and responded to an interview to commemorate the opening of 'Light Shop'.

Disney+'s original series 'Light Shop' tells the story of customers with suspicious secrets coming to the only place that lights up the end of a dark alley'Light Shop'. For 12 days after its release on the 4th, it achieved the highest viewing record among Korean original contents released in 2024 based on global viewing and the second highest viewing among Korean original contents released after the launch of Disney+.

Kang Pul-i said he has been trying to cast actor Park Jung-min for three years. He said "I asked to cast actor Park Jung-min during the moving work, and we met in person and talked over dinner"At that time, only the backside was replaced with another actor due to the production conditions of 'Moving', but I was finally able to appear as Lee Young-tak in the cookie video of 'Light Shop"

Regarding the reason for casting actor Park Jung-min, Kang said, `The synchronicity between the character Young-tak and actor Park Jung-min is very high.'"Yeong-tak is a person who is kind in nature but seems to be bothered and reluctantly doing it, but eventually works hard." I was sure that actor Park Jung-min would express this role excellently", he explained.

It is said that this cookie video shooting was already decided at the beginning of 'Light Shop'. Writer Kang Pul called actor Park Jung-min early on in the shoot and suggested that he appear in the cookie video, showing the last page of the play"The lines were also compressed a week before the shooting, and the actor readily accepted it."

'Light Shop' is currently available for all episodes on Disney+.
