The 10th episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Fiery Death 2', which aired on the 13th, ranked first among dramas aired on Friday with a national viewership of 10.8% and a maximum of 13.4% based on Nielsen Korea.
On this day's broadcast, Kim Hae-il (Kim Nam-gil) was depicted making a choice to risk his life to save Park Kyung-sun (Lee Ha-nee) while the team of 「New Goobens」 staged a cider action against a drug gang.
The kidnapped Park Kyung-sun started a three-minute countdown while tied to a special chair, and Kim Hong-sik (Seong-jun) held out a pistol to Kim Hae-il, saying "If you want to save her, die for yourself." Kim Hae-il said, "Thank you everyone for everything," he said, pointing his pistol at his head, and shocked viewers by ending with the ensuing gunfire.
Immediately after the broadcast, viewers responded enthusiastically, saying, "I can't sleep because I'm curious about the identity of the gunshot", "The last ending is crazy", and "Friday and Saturday dramas are also 'Fiercer 2'".
Meanwhile, the 11th episode of 'Fiercer 2' will air at 10 p.m. on the 20th.
